Q4 2023 Performance of Top Fitness Apps on iOS in France

In the final quarter of 2023, the French iOS market for fitness and weight loss programs showed varying trends across the top applications in the category. Sensor Tower's data provides a comprehensive overview of how these apps performed in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Basic-Fit experienced a decrease in downloads from 21K in late September to approximately 14K by the end of December. Weekly active users peaked in mid-November at over 351K but declined to around 288K by Christmas week.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic scanner saw its downloads fluctuate, with a noteworthy spike to 23K during the last week of December. Revenue dipped mid-quarter but recovered to around 6K USD by the year's end. Active users started strong at 246K but saw a gradual decrease, finishing at approximately 234K.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed a mixed performance with an initial revenue of 64K USD that eventually increased to 68K USD in the final week of December. Downloads had a notable rise to 20K in the same period, and weekly active users surged to over 505K after a mid-quarter dip.

WeWard did not generate revenue, but downloads saw an uptick from 12K to nearly 13K by the quarter's end. Active users, however, experienced a significant decline from 2.8M to 2.1M over the three months.

Macadam - Walk And Earn also reported no revenue, with downloads decreasing from 19K to 7K. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 128K after a slight increase in mid-December.
