During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 hypercasual games on iOS in Malta showcased varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Below are the key insights from Sensor Tower data:
QSWatermelon : Monkey Land saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from 61 in mid-October and reaching a peak of 418 in early December. The downloads then slightly tapered off, ending the quarter at 247.
Block Blast! experienced a more fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 120 downloads at the end of September, the figures dipped to 79 in mid-October but recovered to 191 by the end of December.
Color Water Sort Wooden Puzzle maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 76 at the end of September and climbed to 124 by the end of December. Revenue for this game showed sporadic increments, peaking at $14 in mid-December.
Coffee Stack had a notable surge in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 169 at the end of October. However, the downloads gradually decreased, ending the quarter at 41. Revenue was minimal, with a peak of $8 in late October.
Water Sort Puzzle: Get Color displayed a steady increase in both weekly downloads and revenue. Downloads began at 80 at the end of September and peaked at 140 by the end of December. Revenue also saw a consistent rise, with a peak of $28 in the last week of December.
