As the year 2023 wrapped up, Sensor Tower's data provides us with an insightful look into the performance of the top shooter games on iOS in Latin America during the fourth quarter. Here's a breakdown of how these games fared in the region.
Garena Free Fire: The Chaos maintained a strong presence with a notable uptick in weekly revenue, peaking at $563K in the last week of December. Downloads also saw a significant rise, ending the quarter with 226K in the last week. The game's weekly active users (WAUs) reflected a positive trend, growing to 4.3M by the end of December.
Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a noteworthy peak of $613K in early December. The game's downloads remained consistent, with the quarter-ending figure reaching over 120K. WAUs showed resilience, concluding the year with over 1M active users.
Blood Strike, a newer entrant, saw gradual growth in revenue, ending at nearly $4K in the final week of December. The game's downloads dipped over the quarter but still managed to close with over 36K. The WAUs for Blood Strike increased, indicating a growing user base, finishing the quarter at 97K.
Tencent's PUBG MOBILE showed consistent revenue generation, with the quarter's highest revenue recorded at $112K in mid-December. Downloads saw a slight upward trend, ending at 25K. WAUs also witnessed growth, ending the quarter at 285K.
Lastly, Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games observed a small but steady revenue increase, reaching over $6K in the last week of December. The game's downloads peaked at over 25K, and the WAUs saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, amounting to 76K.
