In Q4 2023, the top 5 auto applications in the UK showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at their metrics.
AutoTrader: Cars to Buy & Sell experienced stable revenue throughout the quarter, starting at around $454 in late September and peaking at approximately $526 in the final week of December. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 29.1K in the week of November 20 before settling at 28.7K in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 234.8K at the start of the quarter to 217.5K by the end.
Shell Go+: Fuel & Rewards app had a downward trend in downloads, starting with 20.3K in early October and dropping to 8.2K by the end of December. Weekly active users also decreased from 147.5K to 130.9K over the same period.
BPme: Pay for Fuel in Your Car saw a decline in downloads from 13.5K in early October to 6.3K by the end of December. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 48K and ending at 42.9K.
CarGurus: Used & New Cars showed an upward trend in downloads, with a significant spike from 9.7K in mid-December to 14.4K in the week of December 18. Weekly active users also increased, peaking at 24.5K before settling at 22.2K by the end of the quarter.
Pod Point experienced a decrease in downloads from 8.9K in early October to 5.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 83.7K and ending at 82.3K.
