In Q4 2023, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps in Russia showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the competitive landscape of the market.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery maintained a strong presence with downloads fluctuating around 200K per week, peaking at approximately 235K in the final week of December. Weekly active users saw a significant increase from 5.1M at the start of the quarter to nearly 5.9M by the end.
Uber Russia — заказ такси showed steady growth in downloads, starting at 87K and reaching a high of about 139K in the last week of December. Active users also experienced a slight increase from 2.1M to 2.2M during the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a varied download trend, starting at 49K and experiencing a peak of around 80K in the last week of December. Weekly active users followed suit, starting at 283K and ending the quarter at approximately 365K.
inDrive. Save on city rides showed a consistent download trend, beginning at 29K and reaching around 34K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw fluctuations, starting at 141K and peaking at about 174K in the last week of December.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at 11K and peaking at approximately 14K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 71K and ending the quarter at around 82K.
