In Q4 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey showcased varied trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a notable increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 18K in the week of December 4. Throughout the quarter, downloads fluctuated, with a low of around 13.5K in mid-October. Weekly active users also showed variability, starting the quarter at 410K and ending at 350K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a decline in downloads, from about 17K in late September to 12K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, from 52K in early October to 46K in the final week of December.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a sharp rise in downloads mid-October, reaching over 10K, but settled back to around 4.4K by the end of December. Weekly active users saw an increase to over 100K in mid-October, before stabilizing around 76K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed growth in downloads, peaking at about 12.9K in mid-November. Weekly active users also increased, hitting a high of 36K in mid-November before concluding the quarter at 30K.

Lastly, Bolt: Request a Ride exhibited a steady increase in downloads, reaching 6K in the last week of December. Weekly active users also rose steadily, ending the quarter at approximately 34K.
