In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications on a unified platform in Norway showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at these trends.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting strong with approximately 2.2K in late September but gradually declining to around 921 by the end of December. Weekly active users saw a mix of highs and lows, peaking at 25.4K in late October before a slight drop and then rebounding to 24.8K in the final week of December.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed a steady increase in revenue, beginning at $815 in late September and reaching a peak of approximately $2.8K in the last week of December. Downloads followed a similar upward trend, culminating in about 1.5K in the same period. Weekly active users also grew significantly, from around 7K at the start of the quarter to approximately 9.3K by the end.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery had minimal activity in terms of downloads, with a peak of 44 in early October and several weeks with no downloads at all. Weekly active users remained low but stable, ranging from 37 to 68 throughout the quarter.
EveryPlate: Cooking Simplified saw very limited downloads, peaking at 13 in late September and fluctuating between 0 and 11 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users remained stable, with a slight peak at 59 in late September and maintaining around 51 to 58 for the remainder of the quarter.
Green Chef: Healthy Recipes had the least activity among the top 5, with downloads peaking at 17 in late September and remaining minimal throughout the quarter. Active users were almost non-existent, with a lone peak of 11 in late September.
