In Q4 2023, the top five fitness and weight loss apps on a unified platform in Turkey showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of these leading apps.
BetterMe: Health Coaching experienced a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at around 12K in early December. Revenue fluctuated throughout the quarter, reaching a high of approximately $8.9K in the week of December 4. Weekly active users saw a peak of nearly 55K in mid-November, maintaining a steady range between 44K and 55K.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting saw a significant spike in downloads, with a notable peak of nearly 50K in early December. Revenue followed an upward trend, hitting a high of about $8.9K in the same period. Weekly active users also increased, reaching a peak of around 144K in early December before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet maintained a steady download rate, with numbers oscillating between 3K and 4.5K. Revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately $3.1K in early December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 50K mark.
Freeletics: Workouts & Fitness had a modest performance in terms of downloads, with numbers ranging between 500 and 1.8K. Revenue trends were relatively stable, peaking at around $2.1K in late November. Weekly active users hovered between 2K and 4K throughout the quarter.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced steady downloads, with figures remaining close to 1K. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at approximately $2K in late November. Weekly active users stayed consistent, averaging around 30K throughout the quarter.
