In the fourth quarter of 2023, the health and fitness app market in Denmark showcased various trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Stepler - Walk & Earn saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at approximately 3.6K at the end of September, peaking at 4.1K in late October, and then decreasing to around 1.6K by late November. Active users for the app remained relatively stable, with a slight dip in November but ending the quarter strong at around 27.8K.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, especially in the week of October 23, reaching 4.2K. Revenue spiked in the last week of October to about $3.9K. Active users rose significantly in late October, maintaining a steady 4.3K by the end of December.
Garmin Connect™ had a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.9K in late September and peaking at over 6K in the last week of December. Active users showed a slight decline throughout the quarter but surged to around 271K in the final week of December.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run demonstrated a consistent revenue stream, peaking at about $10K in the week of October 23. Downloads fluctuated, with a significant spike to 2.6K in late November. Active users saw a peak of around 8.5K in mid-October, ending the quarter at approximately 8.4K.
Me+ Daily Routine Planner saw its weekly downloads peak at 2.8K in early November. Revenue was highest at the end of September at around $1.8K, with active users increasing steadily, reaching nearly 5.9K by the end of December.
