In the final quarter of 2023, the Pinball/Brick Breaker category saw varied performances across the top games in Latin America. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Bricks n Balls experienced a notable decline in downloads, dropping from 438K in late September to 87K by the end of December. Despite the decrease in downloads, revenue peaked in the last week of December at $3.6K, while weekly active users saw a slight recovery from a low of 629K in October to 630K at the end of the quarter.
For Bricks Breaker Quest, the downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 26K and 33K in December. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, with the highest at $725 in late November. The game maintained a robust weekly active user base, ending the year with 798K users.
Bricks King saw a progressive increase in downloads, from 33K in late September to over 40K in the last week of December. Weekly active users reflected a similar upward trend, reaching 245K by the quarter's end.
Bricks Ball Puzzle had an inconsistent quarter in terms of downloads, with a significant spike to 26K in December from a low of 1.3K in late October. The game's weekly active users showed resilience, ending the quarter at 200K, despite earlier fluctuations.
Lastly, Endless Balls 3D presented an interesting case with zero downloads until a sudden surge to 53K in mid-November, followed by another spike to 111K in mid-December. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, with a significant increase to 102K in December from just a few thousand in the preceding weeks.
