Sensor Tower's recent analysis showcases the performance of the leading pirate-themed mobile games across Europe in the final quarter of 2023. The data, which includes both iOS and Android platforms, offers insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Pirates of the Caribbean : ToW by JOYCITY Corp exhibited a fluctuating revenue trend, with a peak of nearly $115K and a low of around $59K. Downloads for the game persisted in the 4K-7K range weekly, while active users saw a dip from 16K to around 13K by the quarter's end.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, a newer entrant from FunPlus International AG, made a splash with revenues soaring from $166K to nearly $294K in the span of four weeks. Downloads more than doubled, hitting an impressive 187K, and weekly active users climbed sharply from 53K to 178K, indicating strong market reception.
Pirate Kings™ by Playtika LTD maintained a stable revenue trend hovering between $40K and $47K. The game saw downloads in the hundreds, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, and active users remained steady, with a minor decrease from 4.3K to just under 3K.
Lord of Seas from SPARKLER GAMES HONG KONG LIMITED witnessed revenues in the range of $16K to $24K. Downloads started strong at 26K but tapered off to 12K, while active users peaked at 38K before settling around 30K.
Voyage: The Grand Fleet, despite a declining revenue and download trend, reported an impressive number of weekly active users, maintaining above 96K throughout the quarter.
