In the final quarter of 2023, France saw interesting trends in the performance of top tennis mobile games across both iOS and Android platforms. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, presents a snapshot of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Tennis Clash: Multiplayer Game, from Brazilian publisher Wildlife Studios, showed a strong start in downloads in early October with nearly 10K, peaking at almost 12K by the year's end. Revenue remained relatively steady, averaging around 28K USD per week, with a spike of over 33K USD in late October. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting from around 90K to over 100K in late December.
From Helium9 Games, Tennis Arena displayed a more volatile revenue pattern, ranging from as low as 711 USD to a peak of over 1.7K USD. Downloads showed an impressive climb, starting at just over 1K and reaching over 3K in late October, before settling at nearly 3K at the end of December. Active users showed steady growth, from approximately 11K to nearly 13K.
Miniclip.com's Mini Tennis: Perfect Smash, released just earlier in the year, showed a consistent revenue with a peak of 1.3K USD. Downloads experienced a steady increase, particularly in late October with over 2K. The game's active users fluctuated around the mid-40K mark, reaching almost 50K at the end of October.
3D Tennis by Mouse Games, with negligible revenue, saw downloads hovering around the 400 mark weekly, but ended the quarter with a slight increase to 566. Active users were relatively stable, with a slight uptick from just under 1K to 1.1K.
Lastly, SEGA's Virtua Tennis Challenge saw modest revenue figures, fluctuating between 26 USD to 56 USD. Downloads and active users both saw gradual increases throughout the quarter, with downloads rising from 119 to 170 and active users from 809 to 726.
