In Q4 2023, the zombie game genre saw notable performances from several titles in Finland. This report, based on Sensor Tower data, highlights the top 5 zombie games, focusing on their downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Last War:Survival Game by FirstFun experienced significant growth. Weekly revenue started at a modest $37 in late November and surged to approximately $4.8K by the end of December. Downloads were also robust, peaking at 3.9K in the last week of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 1.2K to 5.3K over the quarter.
Doomsday: Last Survivors from IGG.COM maintained a steady revenue stream, beginning at $2.8K and reaching $5.1K in the final week of December. Downloads showed a consistent rise, with a peak of 1.1K in the last week of December. The game also saw an increase in weekly active users, growing from 655 to 1.5K throughout the quarter.
Plants vs. Zombies™ by ELECTRONIC ARTS had a mixed performance. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $133 in late October but declining to $28 by the end of December. Downloads were more stable, with a noticeable peak of 817 in the last week of December. Weekly active users showed steady growth, increasing from 2.3K to 3.4K over the quarter.
Plants vs Zombies™ 2, another title from ELECTRONIC ARTS, displayed consistent performance in both downloads and active users. Revenue peaked at $273 in late November but declined to $167 by the end of December. Downloads were stable, peaking at 552 in early October. Weekly active users remained strong, starting at 2.9K and reaching 3.1K by the end of the quarter.
Zombie War - The Last Survivor had a modest presence in the market. Although it didn't generate any revenue, it saw varying download numbers, peaking at 659 in early December. Weekly active users grew from 278 to 1K by mid-December, demonstrating a dedicated player base.
