The first quarter of 2024 saw varied performance trends among the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in El Salvador. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
avianca experienced a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, starting at 412 in early January and ending at 311 by late March. Weekly active users also showed a slight decline from 1.2K to 1K over the quarter.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker demonstrated a more dynamic trend. Weekly downloads peaked at 596 in mid-January but later stabilized around 280 by the end of March. Revenue varied, with notable peaks at $44 in the last week of March. Active users peaked at 3.2K in mid-January and settled around 2.7K towards the end of the quarter.
Volaris maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 196 and 301. Active users saw a slight decline from 849 in early January to 693 by the end of March.
United Airlines had consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 150 to 244. Active users decreased from 954 in early January to 751 by the end of March.
Jetcost: flights, hotels, cars showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 182 in early January and dropping to 123 by mid-March. Active users also slightly decreased from 236 to 196 over the quarter.
