Basketball enthusiasts in France have been actively engaging with a variety of basketball gaming apps on Android in the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into how these games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Basket Battle, published by Supersonic Studios LTD, showed an upward revenue trend, starting at $6M in early January and spiking to $19M in mid-March before settling back to $10M towards the end of March. Downloads fluctuated but saw a peak of over 11K in early February, while weekly active users hovered around the 100K mark throughout the quarter.
Another newcomer, NBA Infinite - PvP Basketball by Level Infinite, made a strong entry with its release in mid-February. Revenue hit a high of over $6M in the second week after release and downloads soared to 36K, though both metrics saw declines in subsequent weeks. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 42K before dropping to just under 11K by the end of March.
Miniclip.com's Basketball Stars: Multiplayer maintained consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a slight increase towards the end, reaching $752K. Downloads reached their highest at 6.5K in mid-March, and weekly active users saw a significant rise to approximately 17K during the same period.
ELECTRONIC ARTS' NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball experienced a varied revenue pattern, peaking at $484K in early January and then again at $411K in late February. The game's downloads saw a spike in mid-February at over 5K, with weekly active users reaching a high of 34K towards the end of the same month.
Lastly, Basketball Arena: Online Game by Masomo Gaming saw revenue that ranged from $73K to $211K throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at nearly 4K in late January, while weekly active users showed a steady decline, starting at 13K in January and dropping to 8K by the end of March.
