In the first quarter of 2024, the Android boxing games category saw varied performances across its top titles in the United States. Here's a breakdown of how each game performed, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.
Boxing Star experienced a fluctuating quarter with downloads peaking at roughly 13K in late February but generally trending downwards, finishing at under 3K. Revenue trends mirrored this pattern, starting the quarter at approximately $11K and reaching a high of $13K, also in late February. Weekly active users peaked at 33K but ended the quarter at around 14K.
Real Boxing 2 maintained a steady download count, beginning at 14K and closing the quarter with over 10K downloads. Revenue for this title showed a gradual increase, starting at nearly $4K and ending with around $5K. Active user figures started strong at 20K, experienced a mid-quarter dip, and recovered to 17K by the end of March.
WWE Mayhem had a quieter quarter with downloads hovering between 3K and 6K. The revenue for this game showed a positive trend, starting at $6K and rising to just over $6K. Weekly active users saw a decline from 17K to 12K throughout the quarter.
MMA Manager 2: Ultimate Fight kicked off the quarter with a strong download count of 9K, which then saw a significant drop, ending at just over 800. Revenue trends also declined from $2.6K to under $1K. Weekly active users started at 10K but saw a decrease to 3.6K by the end of the quarter.
Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre showed consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with figures ranging from above 2K to nearly 3K. Revenue remained steady, with a slight peak in late February at $1.2K. Active users remained stable, starting at around 13K and ending slightly higher at 13K.
