With the first quarter of 2024 behind us, Sensor Tower has provided insightful data on the performance of top dating apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom. Here's a look at how the leading apps fared.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date saw a steady revenue trend, maintaining above $200K each week, peaking at $227K towards the end of January. Downloads showed a slight decline from 12.5K in the first week to 10.8K by the quarter's end, while weekly active users dipped from 454K to 407K.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Date experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a high of $129K in early January. Downloads peaked mid-January at 12.1K and later settled around 8.5K. Weekly active users reached 345K by the end of March, showing a steady increase after a dip in early February.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date, one of the most popular dating platforms, showed robust revenue figures, starting at $236K and hitting highs of $286K in mid-March. Downloads witnessed a gradual decline from 10K to 8.8K, while weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 450K to 398K.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date, a UK-based app, displayed consistent revenue, hovering around $70K weekly. Downloads started at 9.6K but saw a drop to 5.7K by the quarter's end. Active users showed some volatility but ended the quarter with a slight increase from the start, at 316K.
Yubo: Make new friends, while not strictly a dating app, is included for its social connection features. Its revenue ranged from $10K to $14K. Downloads peaked in February at 8.9K but ended the quarter with 6.7K. Weekly active users varied, with a high of 46K in early March.
