In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's fast food app landscape showed an interesting pattern in user engagement and downloads. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into how these apps fared on the Android platform.
Burger King Brasil experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting with approximately 93K in the first week of January and reaching a peak of 115K in the second week. Downloads dipped to 82K in early February but recovered to 112K by the first week of March. Weekly active users declined from 511K to 457K in January before rising to 586K in March and settling at 541K by the end of the quarter.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a steady download pattern, with initial numbers at 84K, dipping to 72K in February, and then peaking at 91K in mid-March. Active users started at 1.9M, dipped to 1.6M in late February, and surged to 2M by the third week of March.
Habib's: Descontos e Delivery downloads peaked at 34K in the third week of January and February but saw a decrease to 23K by mid-March. Active users peaked at 128K towards the end of January and followed a slightly declining trend to 116K by the end of March.
Popeyes Brasil maintained modest download numbers, starting at 2K and seeing a significant spike to 5.5K in the third week of March, ending the quarter at 6.9K. Active users mirrored this trend with an increase from 3.7K to 8.9K in the same period.
Domino's Pizza Brasil showed consistent downloads throughout the quarter, beginning at 1.5K and peaking at 1.9K in the second week of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 11.6K and ending at 10.1K.
