In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 food and diet tracking apps on the Android platform in Mexico demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is a detailed look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Fitia - Diet & Meal Planner saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $6.1K in early January and peaking at about $7K by mid-March. Weekly downloads showed a consistent upward trend, beginning at around 15.5K and reaching up to 16.3K by mid-March. The app's weekly active users started the quarter at 49.3K, slightly decreasing mid-quarter but recovering to 48.9K by the end of March.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting experienced a varied revenue pattern, starting at $2.3K and ending at approximately $1.2K. Downloads were high at the beginning of the quarter with 15.4K but saw a significant drop to around 2.9K by late March. Active users began at 27K, dropping to 16.7K by the end of the quarter.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a steady revenue stream, starting at $1.7K and maintaining around that level throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 2.4K and slightly decreasing to 1.8K by the end of March. Active users were high at the beginning with 71.3K but saw a gradual decline to 55.6K by the end of the quarter.
BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting had its revenue peak at $1.9K in early January, followed by a decrease to about $1.3K by late March. Downloads began at 8.4K and steadily decreased to 2.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 15.4K, dropped to 9.2K by late March.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter showed a mixed revenue trend, starting at $1.3K and ending at approximately $0.9K. Downloads were initially high at 7.1K, experienced a mid-quarter dip, but surged to 7.3K by mid-March. Active users began the quarter at 36.8K, peaked at 39.2K mid-March, and ended at 31.8K.
