Latin America's food delivery service landscape continues to be competitive, and Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of how top apps fared in the first quarter of 2024 on the Android platform.
iFood comida e mercado em casa observed a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 257K in mid-February before dipping to 208K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed more consistency, starting at 8.7M and reaching a high of 9.5M in the second week of March.
PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced its highest download figures towards the end of the quarter, with a notable jump to 243K in the last week of March. Weekly active users saw a steady increase, starting at 3.8M and climbing to 4.1M in the same period.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery downloads remained relatively stable with a slight uptick to 139K in the last week of March. Its weekly active users started at 3M and showed a modest growth, ending the quarter at 3.2M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw a varied download pattern, with the highest at 99K in mid-February before settling at 81K by the end of March. Active users demonstrated a gradual increase from 1.1M to 1.15M over the quarter.
iFood para Entregadores, an app for delivery personnel, had its peak downloads at 69K in mid-January, decreasing to approximately 49K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users peaked at 269K in late February and slightly decreased to around 247K by the end of March.
