In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 Gacha games on Android in South Africa displayed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each game fared:
eFootball™ 2024 saw a significant spike in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $29.7K in early March. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 4.9K in mid-March. Active users grew from 143.5K at the start of January to a peak of 155.8K in mid-March, before slightly declining to 149.3K by the end of the quarter.
RAID: Shadow Legends experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, reaching $9.7K in late January and $8.6K in late March. Downloads were highest at 1.7K in mid-March, while active users saw a dip early in the quarter but rebounded to 6.4K in mid-March.
Whiteout Survival maintained consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $8.1K in late February. Downloads were highest at 2.9K in early January but decreased significantly before rising again to 1.8K in mid-March. Active users showed an upward trend, reaching 5.8K by the end of the quarter.
AFK Arena generated steady weekly revenue, peaking at $9.7K in early January. Downloads were minimal throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 97 in the last week of March. Active users saw a gradual decline from 667 at the start of January to 432 by the end of March.
Last War:Survival Game showed strong performance with weekly revenue peaking at $11.8K in late March. Downloads were highest at 9.6K in mid-January, while active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 15.9K in late February before ending the quarter at 11.8K.
