Australian Android users have shown a consistent interest in MMORPGs throughout the first quarter of 2024. Here, we look at the performance of the top five MMORPG applications, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $15K USD in the first week and dipping to around $8K before climbing back up to about $15K by the end of the quarter. The game's downloads peaked at 315 in the last week, while weekly active users saw an upward trend, ending the quarter with around 2.5K active users.
Jagex Games Studio's Old School RuneScape also experienced revenue fluctuations, beginning the quarter at roughly $4K USD and reaching up to $4.6K. Downloads for the game hit a high of 765 in the third week of January, with weekly active users peaking at 4.5K towards the end of January and settling at approximately 3.7K by the end of March.
The Legend of Neverland by Ark Games Global had its revenue start at about $4.7K USD, with a mid-quarter dip and a closing at around $2.2K. Downloads began at 164 and decreased over the quarter, with weekly active users starting at 788 and experiencing slight ups and downs, concluding the quarter with 657 active users.
9RING's MU: Dragon Havoc showed a descending trend in revenue, starting at approximately $4.5K USD and ending the quarter at around $3K. The game's downloads experienced a sharp decline after the first few weeks, with no new downloads recorded after the second week of February. Weekly active users also saw a gradual decrease from 193 to 114 by the end of March.
Lastly, MIR4 from Wemade Co., Ltd started the quarter with a revenue of roughly $4.1K USD, witnessed a dip, and then increased to about $3.1K by the end of March. Downloads for MIR4 were sporadic, with the highest number at 26 in the fourth week of January. The game's weekly active users remained fairly steady, starting at 285 and ending the quarter with 255 active users.
