Throughout Q1 2024, Anghami experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $269 in the week of January 29 and dipping to $131 in the week of February 19. Weekly downloads saw a high of 6.5K in mid-February, with active users starting at 43.4K in early January, peaking at approximately 50.7K by the end of the month, and ending at 36K in late March.
Spotify's weekly revenue remained relatively steady, averaging around $60 throughout the quarter. Downloads showed substantial growth, starting at 1.3K in early January and reaching nearly 4.9K by mid-March. Active users also saw an increase, climbing from 189.9K in early January to over 207K by mid-March, before slightly declining to 186.7K at the end of the quarter.
Apple Music's weekly revenue was modest, generally staying below $10, with a slight peak at $11 in mid-March. Weekly downloads remained consistent, averaging around 230, while active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 8.6K in early January and ending at 8.8K in late March.
SoundCloud had varied weekly revenue, with a modest peak of $9 in mid-March. Downloads were stable, peaking at 752 in mid-February. Active users fluctuated but generally stayed around 14.5K, ending the quarter at approximately 13.9K.
RadioTunes showed minimal activity in terms of revenue and downloads throughout the quarter, with a notable revenue increase to $24 in the final week of March.
