Latin America's Top Android Music & Podcasts Apps in Q1 2024

The first quarter of 2024 has seen Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintain a strong presence in Latin America with downloads peaking at 1.7M and weekly active users (WAUs) reaching up to 84M. The app's revenue also showed consistency, with a slight dip in February but picking up towards March with $183K.

M&TREBEL: Music, MP3 & Podcasts experienced modest revenue figures, hovering around a few hundred dollars weekly, but saw a steady increase in WAUs, rising from 4.7M to 5.1M in January. Downloads for the app reached their zenith in early February with over 240K.

On the other hand, YouTube Music saw a fluctuating download trend, yet managed to secure a consistent increase in WAUs, ending the quarter with a notable 63.7M active users. Despite generating no revenue, the app's downloads reached their highest at 240K in late January.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts showed a mixed pattern in downloads but ended the quarter on a high note with 168K downloads in the last week of March. The WAUs remained relatively stable, with a slight rise to 3.6M towards the end of the quarter.

Lastly, eSound: MP3 Music Player App from Spicy Sparks, saw its revenue peak at $2.4K in mid-February. Downloads saw a spike to 176K in early February, while WAUs experienced a steady rise, maintaining above 2.2M throughout the quarter.
