During the first quarter of 2024, the top five personal finance budgeting and planning applications on the Android platform in Mexico showed varying performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users:
Profuturo Móvil had a notable presence, with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 16K in the week of January 8. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at around 9.3K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users starting at nearly 95K and fluctuating slightly before ending the quarter at around 90K.
Banregio experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning the quarter with about 5.4K and decreasing to approximately 2.6K by the week of March 25. Despite this, the app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 64K at both the start and end of the quarter.
Money manager & expenses saw a significant drop in downloads over the quarter, starting at around 6.5K and ending at roughly 1.6K. The app's weekly revenue showed some variability, peaking at $572 in mid-February before dropping to $250 by the end of March. Active users decreased from approximately 32K to 27.6K throughout the quarter.
Money Tracker-Expense & Budget had a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings around $270 to $388. Downloads began at about 4.6K and tapered off to around 2K by the end of the quarter. The app's active user count increased from around 4.9K to 7.2K, indicating growing user engagement.
Dineria: Payment Calculator showed a decline in downloads, starting from about 4.3K and decreasing to approximately 1.6K by the week of March 25. Unfortunately, active user data for this app was not available for this period.
