The Australian Android gaming landscape has seen an interesting trend among the top racing games in the first quarter of 2024. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into how apps like CSR 2 Realistic Drag Racing, Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games, Need for Speed™ No Limits, Real Racing 3, and Asphalt 9: Legends performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Starting with CSR 2 Realistic Drag Racing, the game saw a fluctuating download count, peaking at 1K in early February before stabilizing around 500 towards the end of March. Weekly active users showed a more consistent upward trend, starting at 2K and reaching over 3K in early February but slightly dipping to 2K towards the end of the quarter.
Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games experienced a significant boost in downloads during the first week of March, jumping to over 3K from an average of 1K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a notable increase to 8K in mid-March.
For Need for Speed™ No Limits, downloads saw a standout spike to nearly 3K at the end of January, but generally hovered around the lower thousands throughout the quarter. Active users reached a peak of 7K at the end of January, with some fluctuation before settling back to around 3K by the end of March.
Real Racing 3 presented a mixed bag with downloads peaking at over 2K in mid-January and a steady level of weekly active users, maintaining a figure around 4K for most of the quarter.
Lastly, Asphalt 9: Legends saw its highest downloads at the start of February with over 1K, but there was a gradual decrease to just under 600 by early March. Active users saw a rise in February, reaching over 2K, but this number had decreased by the end of March.
