Q1 2024 Real-Time Strategy App Trends in Europe on Android

Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games continue to captivate European audiences on Android devices, with Sensor Tower data providing a clear picture of the top contenders in the first quarter of 2024. Here's a snapshot of how these games fared.

We Are Warriors! from Lessmore UG showed a strong start in January with downloads peaking at nearly 600K and weekly active users (WAUs) reaching close to 1M. However, by March, downloads had slowed to approximately 85K, and WAUs dipped to around 643K. Revenue trends mirrored this pattern, initially spiking at $56K and then settling at around $32K by the end of March.

Mob Control by VOODOO also experienced a similar trajectory. Downloads surged in early January to over 200K, before leveling out to 164K by the quarter's end. The WAUs followed suit, starting at over 400K and slightly declining to 414K. Revenue remained fairly stable, with a late surge pushing it to over $52K in the final week of March.

SayGames Ltd's Tower War - Tactical Conquest saw downloads peak at nearly 190K in February but ended the quarter with a steady 155K downloads. Active users showed resilience, with an initial count of 664K slightly decreasing to 630K. Revenue figures were consistent, with a slight uptick to $26K by March 25.

Max Games Studios' Stick War: Legacy, while not a high revenue generator, maintained a steady active user base starting at around 306K and slightly dropping to 250K by the end of Q1. Downloads saw a mid-quarter dip but recovered to 81K in the last week of March.

Finally, Supercell's Clash Royale stood out with its impressive revenue numbers, starting the year at $688K and witnessing a spike to $574K in early March. Despite the fluctuating download figures, which hovered around 78K by March's end, the weekly active users remained robust, with the quarter beginning at over 17M and closing at nearly 16M.
