In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 shooter games on the Android platform in Madagascar showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Pure Sniper: Gun Shooter Games from Miniclip.com experienced steady weekly revenue around $3 to $4 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads surged mid-January, peaking at 1.3K by the end of the month, and remained relatively stable with minor fluctuations. The game also saw a gradual increase in weekly active users from 3.2K at the start of January to over 4K by the end of March.
PUBG MOBILE, published by Level Infinite, had varying weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $701 in mid-January and stabilizing around $300 to $400 towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 1.7K in the second week of January, while weekly active users steadily increased from 56.3K to over 60K by the end of March.
Free Fire: 7th Anniversary by Garena International I showed a peak in weekly revenue at $718 in late January, followed by a gradual decline to around $330 by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike to 2.1K in late January, and active users increased from 24.9K to nearly 29.1K by the end of the quarter.
Cover Fire: Offline Shooting from Viva Games Studios, although not generating revenue, maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 718 downloads in late January. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 2.3K and ending the quarter at around 2.4K.
Free Fire MAX, also published by Garena International I, saw revenue peaking at $340 in mid-January and stabilizing around $245 towards the end of the quarter. Downloads were highest at 859 in late January, and active users showed a steady increase from 10K to 11.7K by the end of March.
