In Q1 2024, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Oceania showcased varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Amazon Shopping experienced a diverse quarter. The app saw weekly downloads ranging from approximately 8.7K to 12.5K, peaking in the week of January 29. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching its highest at around $596 in early January and then declining to $240 by the end of the same month. Active users exhibited a downward trend initially, from 865.8K to 742.8K by early February, before stabilizing and ending the quarter at approximately 761.3K.
Our Groceries Shopping List showed steady performance in terms of weekly downloads, hovering between 249 and 446. The app’s revenue saw a notable increase, particularly in late February and March, peaking at around $558. Active users steadily increased throughout the quarter, starting at 678 and reaching 849 by the end of March.
Listonic: Grocery List App had consistent weekly downloads, with a modest rise from 416 to 735 over the quarter. Revenue trends were relatively stable, with a notable peak of approximately $562 in early January and another surge to $376 in late March. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 1.5K and ending at 1.9K.
Sole Retriever - Sneakers had modest download numbers, with the highest weekly downloads being 125 in mid-February. Weekly revenue saw some fluctuations, peaking at around $324 in early March but generally staying between $200 and $300. No active user data was available for this app.
Safe Purchase had a quiet quarter in terms of downloads, with minimal activity and a peak of just 9 downloads in March. Weekly revenue was relatively low, peaking at approximately $322 in mid-March.
