In Q1 2024, the European sports gaming landscape on Android has seen significant activity. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with a glimpse into how the top 5 sports games have performed during this period.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer, published by ELECTRONIC ARTS, has shown a fluctuating revenue trend with a peak of approximately $600K towards the end of January, followed by a general decline. Downloads reached a high of about 250K in the first week of January, then stabilized around the 180K mark. Weekly active users started at 13M and saw a slight decrease to around 11M by the end of March.
Top Eleven Be a Soccer Manager from Nordeus displayed a more stable revenue pattern, with a notable spike to nearly $480K in late February. Downloads for this management title had a peak of 85K in the same month, while active users hovered between 650K and 530K throughout the quarter.
Ten Square Games' Fishing Clash: Sport Simulator saw revenues that varied, reaching a high of over $330K in early March. The game's downloads peaked at approximately 71K in the same week, and weekly active users showed an upward trend in early March, with a peak of over 220K.
The popular 8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com maintained a consistent revenue, with a noticeable peak of around $170K in mid-February. The game witnessed a download surge in mid-January with over 240K new players, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 2M mark.
Lastly, KONAMI's eFootball™ 2024 showed revenues that generally declined over the quarter, with a brief increase to $170K in early March. Downloads peaked at over 120K in late January, and active users reached a high of 8.4M in mid-January before gradually decreasing to 7.2M by the end of March.
