In the first quarter of 2024, the undead have continued to captivate mobile gamers in the United States on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the performance of the top five Zombie games during this period.
Last War:Survival Game, developed by FirstFun, has seen a significant rise in revenue, peaking at $2.46M by the end of March. Weekly active users grew steadily, reaching a high of 280K in early March. However, downloads experienced a downward trend, dropping to 62K in the last week of March.
Plants vs. Zombies™ by ELECTRONIC ARTS, a classic in the genre, maintained a modest revenue stream, with a slight increase to $1.3K in revenue by late March. The game's downloads remained stable with a slight uptick to 29K, and active users hovered around 187K to 229K throughout the quarter.
IGG.COM's Doomsday: Last Survivors showed a mixed bag of results. Revenue saw a rise to $186K in early March but downloads decreased to 17K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users mirrored this decline, dipping to 125K in the same period.
The strategic mashup Puzzles & Survival from 37GAMES, demonstrated robust revenue growth, reaching $766K mid-March before settling at $692K. Downloads and weekly active users showed more of a plateau, ending the quarter at 22K downloads and approximately 78K active users.
Lastly, Age of Origins from CamelStudio experienced a steady revenue performance with a slight end-of-quarter increase to $493K. The game's downloads saw a growth towards the end of March, reaching 15K, while active users saw an increase to 53K.
