In Q1 2024, the top 5 dance games on the iOS platform in South America showcased diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Just Dance Now from Ubisoft experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $2.9K in mid-January but later declined to around $1.5K by early March. Downloads also saw a varied trend, starting at 5.5K in the first week of January and dropping to about 1K by early March. The app's active users followed a downward trend, going from 9.7K in early January to 5.1K by the end of March.
Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop by Coco Play had a relatively stable performance in terms of downloads, with numbers ranging from 760 in the first week of January to 542 in the last week of March. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $40 in mid-March. Active users showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, from 4.7K at the beginning of January to 4.2K by late March.
Another title from Coco Play, Ice Skating Ballerina, maintained steady downloads, with minor fluctuations between 504 in early January and 277 by the end of March. Revenue also remained consistent, peaking at $54 in mid-March. Active users saw a slight decline from 773 in the first week of January to 486 by the last week of March.
Acrobat Star Show, also by Coco Play, had the lowest download figures among the top 5, with numbers fluctuating between 95 in early January and 72 by the end of March. Revenue was minimal, with a peak of just $11 in mid-March. Active users declined from 273 in early January to 167 by the end of March.
Finally, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys, another Coco Play title, showed modest performance with downloads ranging from 59 in the first week of January to 96 by the last week of March. Weekly revenue peaked at $22 in late February. Active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, from 241 in early January to 281 by late March.
