Dating apps continue to thrive in Brazil, with Sensor Tower data providing a glimpse into the Q1 2024 performance of the top players on the iOS platform. Here's a look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends saw a steady revenue trend in the first quarter, with a peak of $177K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a low of 34K in early February, but ended the quarter with around 37K. Weekly active users started at 764K, dipped in February, and slightly recovered to 724K by March's end.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative demonstrated a modest revenue trend, with a notable spike to $4K in the second week of March. Downloads hit a high of 21K in the last week of March, while weekly active users increased from 78K to 95K during the quarter.
Inner Circle: Dating Community generated consistent revenue, ending the quarter on a high note with $56K. Downloads saw a peak of 16K in the second week of February, while active users saw an overall increase from 50K to 51K.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends experienced a fairly stable revenue pattern, with figures hovering around the low $20Ks throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady with an average of 14K per week. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at 280K and ending the quarter at 265K.
happn: Dating, Chat & Meet showed a revenue range between $27K and $32K with slight fluctuations. Downloads experienced a gradual decrease throughout the quarter, starting at around 12K and ending with 7K. Weekly active users maintained a level above 130K.
