In the first quarter of 2024, the European iOS market saw interesting trends in the dinosaur gaming category. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of the top five dinosaur games during this period.
Steve | Widget Dinosaur Game from Calm Sea Enterprise, S.L. showed a significant rise in revenue, jumping from $49K in the first week of January to $461K by the end of March. Downloads peaked mid-January at around 23K, with weekly active users reaching their highest at approximately 44K in the same period.
Studio Wildcard's ARK: Survival Evolved generated steady revenue, maintaining around $5K per week, with a slight dip to $4.4K in early March. Downloads remained above 5K each week, while active users fluctuated slightly but stayed around the 25K mark.
Jurassic World™: The Game by Jam City, Inc. had a strong revenue performance, with a high of $42K in the third week of February. The game's downloads saw a gradual increase over the quarter, ending with over 5K in the last week. Weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, ending at around 44K.
Dinosaur Rampage from Geisha Tokyo Inc., while not generating revenue, saw downloads spike to over 7K in the first week of March. Active users also rose to over 22K in mid-March, showcasing the game's growing engagement.
Lastly, HOMA GAMES' Merge & Fight - Dinosaur Game experienced a decrease in revenue, from $1.2K in the first week of January to under $200 by the end of March. Downloads and active users both followed a downward trend, with active users dipping to around 14K by the quarter's close.
