In the first quarter of 2024, the performance of the top food delivery services on iOS in Spain displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app performed.
Glovo: Food Delivery and more began the quarter with 23.8K downloads in the first week of January but saw a dip to 15.2K by mid-March. However, it ended the quarter on a high note, with downloads spiking to 27.3K in the last week of March. Active users started strong at 270K, experienced a slight dip, but remained relatively stable, finishing at 266K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a peak in downloads during the week of January 22 with 20.9K before experiencing a gradual decline, closing the quarter with 13.8K downloads. Active users showed consistency, increasing from 90.7K in early January to 109K in early February, before a slight drop to 101K by the end of March.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a relatively stable download trend, starting at 14.3K in the first week of January, dipping to 9.8K by mid-March, then surging to 17.3K in the last week of March. Active users were somewhat consistent, starting at 245K and ending at 237K with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Just Eat - Food Delivery experienced a decline in downloads from 13.8K in early January to 7.6K by mid-March, only to see a significant increase to 11.7K in the last week of March. Active users remained stable, starting at 242K and ending at 230K.
Lastly, Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery showcased a gradual increase in downloads, beginning with 1.1K in the first week of January and peaking at 2K in the final week of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 45.5K and closing the quarter at 53.6K.
