As the first quarter of 2024 wraps up, we take a look at the performance of the top horror games on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower. Here's how the top 5 games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Granny, despite generating no revenue this quarter, saw downloads peak at 5.5K in mid-February and end the quarter strong with 5.4K downloads. Weekly active users started at 30K and reached a high of 27K towards the end of March.
The Baby In Yellow experienced modest revenue, beginning the quarter with $45 and ending with $8. Downloads for the game hit a high of 4.8K in mid-February, while active users saw a slight rebound from 19K to 20K by the quarter's end.
For Mystery Matters, revenue started at a strong $21.5K and showed a dip to $16.9K by March 25th. Downloads declined from 7.7K to 1.4K over the quarter, and weekly active users tapered off from 15.7K to 11.8K.
Hello Neighbor saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at $780 in the third week of February and ending the quarter at $659. The game's downloads remained steady, with a slight increase from 3.4K to 3K. Weekly active users hovered around 11K-13K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Scary Teacher 3D garnered revenues starting at $252, dipping mid-quarter to $100, and climbing up to $173 by March 25th. Downloads saw a high of 3.6K in the first week of January and reached 3.1K by the quarter's end, while active users moved from 21.7K down to 18.9K.
