Google Maps maintained a strong lead in weekly active users, averaging around 2.5M throughout the quarter, despite a slight downtrend in downloads from 39K to 26K. Weekly active users showed a stable trend, hovering just above 2.5M.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 34K, dipping mid-quarter to around 18K, and rebounding to 28K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, peaking at 454K in the last week of March.
Google Earth experienced a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 7K to 9K. The app's active users stayed within the 28K-30K band, indicating a steady user base.
arevo: RACV’s Journey Planner showcased a notable spike in downloads from 775 to a peak of 8K in the second week of March, then settling back to 970 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users data was not available for this app.
Citymapper: All Live Transit demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, starting at 1K and climbing to 2K by the end of Q1. Revenue for Citymapper showed some week-to-week variability, with amounts ranging from $83 to $153. The weekly active users saw a gradual increase from 6.7K to 7.7K.
