In Q1 2024, the performance of the top 5 navigation apps on iOS in Bulgaria presented diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
Moovit: All Transit Options exhibited strong user engagement. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, starting at around 1.1K and peaking at 1.1K in the last week of March. Revenue showed some fluctuations, peaking at approximately $505 in the first week of January and ending the quarter at around $322. Active users saw a general increase, climbing from 16.5K in early January to 17.5K by the end of March.
Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps from Sygic a. s. had consistent performance. Weekly downloads hovered around 160 to 180 throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a notable increase towards the end of March, reaching about $334. Active users remained steady, with minor fluctuations around the 430 to 465 range.
TomTom GO Navigation experienced variable trends. Weekly downloads ranged from 42 to 98, with a noticeable peak in mid-February. Revenue showed a downward trend in March, dropping to about $82. Active users also fluctuated, starting at 214 in January and ending at 181 in March.
Spoten Phone Location Tracker had a more volatile quarter. Downloads ranged from a low of 9 to a high of 74. Revenue peaked at $137 in early January but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 39 in early January to a peak of 60 in late February, before dropping to 21 by the end of March.
Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies showed modest activity. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 24 in the last week of March. Revenue saw a significant peak of $206 in mid-February. Active users remained low but stable, fluctuating between 10 and 39 throughout the quarter.
