In the first quarter of 2024, the Tycoon gaming category on iOS in the United Kingdom has seen interesting trends among its leading titles. Sensor Tower provides us with the latest insights into these games' performance during this period.
Township by Playrix, witnessed a fluctuating revenue stream, peaking at approximately $253K in mid-January and then stabilizing around $200K towards the end of March. Downloads saw a significant spike in mid-February, reaching around 44K, while weekly active users showed an overall increase, concluding the quarter at approximately 83K.
My Perfect Hotel developed by SayGames LTD, experienced a decrease in revenue from around $19K at the beginning of January to approximately $6K by the end of March. Downloads also saw a downward trend, starting at around 57K and ending the quarter at about 20K. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 171K to around 71K.
Melsoft's Family Island — Farming game showed a more stable revenue with a notable rise to nearly $97K in the last week of March. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 9K per week, while weekly active users experienced a slight uptick, ending at about 31K.
Build Master: Bridge Race by FUNLINKING PTE.LTD., displayed an overall decline in revenue, despite a surge to $46K in mid-March. Downloads decreased, particularly noticeable in late March, with a low of around 2K. Weekly active users, however, remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering around 100K to 110K.
Lastly, Hay Day from Supercell showed varied revenue, reaching over $120K in late January, then leveling off at around $75K by the end of March. Downloads were modest, averaging about 7K per week. However, weekly active users were robust, maintaining a steady figure close to 300K throughout the quarter.
