In the first quarter of 2024, the iOS platform saw varying performances from the top tycoon games in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data offers us valuable insights into these trends.
Township by Playrix experienced a steady revenue with notable peaks, reaching up to $103K in the final week of February. Downloads for the game showed a significant bump mid-February with over 108K new installs. Weekly active users rose consistently across the quarter, topping at more than 277K by the end of March.
My Perfect Hotel from SayGames LTD started the quarter with a revenue of almost $4K, which saw slight fluctuations, ending at around $2.3K by March's close. The game's downloads began at 126K but tapered off, eventually stabilizing at 50K towards the quarter's end. The active user base also followed a downward trend, from an initial 332K to 140K.
Chengdu Warrior Tech Limited's Idle Office Tycoon-Money game showed a decline in revenue from $13.6K to under $1K by the end of March. Downloads decreased steadily, starting at 62K and falling to 4.5K. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 75K to just over 15K.
Supercell's Hay Day maintained a moderate revenue that fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at $55.6K at the end of January. The game's downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 15K per week. Active users showed resilience, with a slight increase to end at approximately 172K in the last week of March.
Finally, Century Games Pte. Ltd.'s Family Farm Adventure saw modest revenues, starting at about $5.3K and slightly decreasing to $2.5K. Downloads peaked in mid-February with 28K but dropped to 7K by the quarter's end. Active users had a high in mid-February at over 90K but then declined to 68K.
