The Utilities category on the iOS platform has seen varied performance among the top applications in the United States during the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of their downloads, revenue, and active users.
NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure observed a revenue trend that peaked at $450K in mid-March, after starting the quarter at nearly $400K. Downloads fluctuated around the 50K mark per week, with a notable increase to 60K in mid-March. Weekly active users ranged from 448K to 513K, ending the quarter at around 474K.
Robokiller: Spam Call Blocker experienced a revenue high of $416K in early February, with the rest of the quarter hovering between $179K and $237K. Downloads saw a spike of 20K in mid-February, while weekly active users showed a general decline from 89K to 74K throughout the quarter.
Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner had its revenue peak at $281K in early February, with a gentle decline to around $202K by the end of March. The app's downloads started strong at 138K but gradually decreased to 40K. Weekly active users also saw a decrease from 461K to 369K over the quarter.
Burner: Second Phone Number showed a revenue trend that saw a mid-quarter spike to $202K, with the rest of the quarter's revenue around the $150K-$180K range. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ranging from 17K to 28K, while weekly active users saw a slight decline from 59K to 52K.
Fambase: Live & Group Chat saw its revenue grow towards the end of the quarter, reaching a high of $177K. Downloads had a mid-quarter spike at 19K, but ended the quarter at 11K. Weekly active users showed a rise from 54K to a peak of 62K, before settling at around 57K.
