As we delve into the first quarter of 2024, the wellness app market on iOS in the United Kingdom has shown varied trends among the top contenders. Insights provided by Sensor Tower reveal how the leading apps have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound started the quarter with strong revenue and downloads, peaking at $69K and 62K respectively. However, both metrics showed a downward trend, with downloads dipping to 19K and revenue sliding to $44K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar path, decreasing from 63K to 32K.
The Me+ Daily Routine Planner saw a noteworthy decrease in weekly active users from 116K to 85K. Its revenue also reflected a declining trend, starting at $33K and falling to $8K, while downloads shrank from 37K to 6K.
Breeze: Mental Health showed fluctuating revenue through the quarter, with a high of $22K and ending slightly stronger at $17K. Downloads for the app were modest, peaking at 15K and settling at 8K, while weekly active users experienced a gradual rise from 34K to 29K.
I Am Sober demonstrated a mixed performance, with revenue oscillating throughout the quarter, starting at $7.5K and dropping to $3.9K. Nonetheless, weekly active users saw a significant increase from 169K to 156K, and downloads showed a slight uptick towards the end, from 19K to 8K.
Lastly, BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep had a modest revenue journey, starting at $4.5K and rising to $5.9K. Downloads saw a dip from 9K to 6K, while weekly active users showed resilience, bouncing back from a low of 31K to end the quarter at 37K.
