Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top Apple Arcade games in Europe demonstrated diverse performance metrics across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Chess - Play & Learn from Chess.com experienced a downward trend in weekly revenue from January to March, starting at approximately $415K in the first week of January and ending at about $275K by the last week of March. Weekly downloads also exhibited a gradual decline, from around 223K in early January to 155K by the end of March. The game maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at around 6.8M in mid-January before stabilizing at approximately 6.1M by the end of the quarter.
Ninja Kiwi's Bloons TD 6 showed a stable weekly revenue pattern, starting at roughly $54K in early January and ending at about $46K in late March. The game's weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 9.3K in early March but dropping to approximately 3.9K by the end of the month. Active users saw a slight decrease, moving from around 69K in early January to approximately 61K by the end of March.
Asphalt 8: Airborne by Gameloft saw a varied revenue pattern, with a notable increase to approximately $12K in the last week of March from around $11K in early January. Weekly downloads peaked at around 167K in early March but declined to roughly 76K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 395K in early March before dropping to around 273K by the end of March.
Hill Climb Racing from Fingersoft experienced a relatively stable revenue stream, starting at approximately $10K in early January and ending at around $10K in late March. Weekly downloads saw significant fluctuations, peaking at around 348K in mid-February before settling at approximately 104K by the end of March. The game maintained a high number of active users, peaking at around 3.9M in mid-February and stabilizing at roughly 2.9M by the end of the quarter.
Solitaire by MobilityWare showed consistent weekly revenue, starting at about $8.1K in early January and ending at approximately $7.9K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, peaking at around 47.6K in mid-March. The game maintained a high number of active users, peaking at around 5.2M in mid-January before leveling off at approximately 4.2M by the end of March.
