In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Bulgaria showcased varied performance metrics across weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at the trends for these leading apps on a unified platform.
TUDA — order a ride had a fluctuating download pattern. Starting the quarter with 1.7K weekly downloads, it saw a dip in mid-January to around 1.3K but rebounded to 1.6K by early March. Active user data was not available.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 949 in early March. The app also saw a consistent rise in active users, starting from 35.1K in early January and reaching around 37K by mid-March.
Bolt: Request a Ride also displayed a positive trend in downloads, beginning the quarter with 509 and growing to 810 by early March. Active users increased from 6.1K in January to about 6.8K by March.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed moderate download numbers, starting with 271 in early January and slightly rising to 345 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 1.5K mark throughout the quarter.
Careem – rides, food & more experienced modest download numbers, beginning at 165 and peaking at 301 in late February. The app saw an increase in active users from 342 in early January to a peak of 524 by late February.
