In the first quarter of 2024, Switzerland's dance gaming scene saw varied performances across the top 5 apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower. Here's a look at the trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for each game.
Just Dance Now experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, starting at around $533 in early January and ending at approximately $360 by the end of March. Downloads showed a mix of peaks and troughs, with a low of 96 in mid-January and a high of 213 in late March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting with 588 at the beginning of the year and dipping to 261 in mid-March before rising again to 373.
Ice Skating Ballerina had modest revenue figures, peaking at $37 in late January and maintaining a low but steady stream thereafter. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 36 and 124. Active users saw a decline from 161 at the start of January to 76 by the end of March.
Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop showed a revenue peak of $32 in early March, with other weeks seeing lower figures. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 37 in early March. Active users ranged from 25 in early January to a peak of 69 in early March.
Acrobat Star Show had negligible revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads were minimal initially but spiked to 35 in early March. Active users were low, peaking at 52 in early January and dropping to 11 by the end of March.
Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys saw minimal revenue, with a peak of $15 in mid-February. Weekly downloads increased significantly from 8 in early January to 34 by the end of March. Active users were minimal, with a record of 10 by the end of the quarter.
