In the first quarter of 2024, the top five dating applications in the Netherlands showed varied performance metrics across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained strong weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $248K in early February. The app saw a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at around 7.3K and ending at about 5.7K. Active users also showed a gradual decrease from 275K at the beginning of January to 247K by the end of March.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a consistent weekly revenue, reaching a high of $102K at the end of January. Weekly downloads showed a declining trend from 8.7K in the first week to 6.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a slight increase, peaking at 198K in mid-March.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends showed steady revenue, with a peak of $56K in mid-February. Weekly downloads fluctuated mildly, starting at around 5.4K and ending at 3.7K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 136K and ending the quarter at 134K.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat had a consistent revenue performance, peaking at $45K in mid-February. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 900 per week. Active users hovered around 19K throughout the quarter.
happn: Dating, Chat & Meet saw its highest weekly revenue at $44K in mid-February. Downloads started at 3.9K in the first week and ended at 3.3K by the end of March. Active users saw a decrease from 128K at the start of the quarter to 115K by the end.
