The first quarter of 2024 saw diverse trends in the performance of the top 5 fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in the Czech Republic. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users.
McDonald’s - Non-US showed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, ranging from 5.8K to 7K. Notably, the app saw a peak of 7.1K downloads in the week of March 11. Weekly active users started strong at approximately 208K in early January, peaking at 247K in mid-January, but ended the quarter with a decline to 187K.
KFC CZ experienced a similar pattern in downloads, initially recording about 5.8K and hitting a low of 4.3K in early February. The downloads picked up again, reaching 4.8K by the end of March. Active users for KFC CZ remained relatively stable, starting at 41K and ending the quarter at 39.8K.
BURGER KING® Magyarország saw a significant increase in downloads, beginning with just under 1K in early January and reaching a high of 1.9K in the week of March 4. Active users followed a positive trend, increasing from 2.2K in early January to 3.6K by mid-March.
Starbucks CEE had a lower download count, starting at 895 in the first week of January, dipping to 402 by late January, and then recovering to 751 in mid-March. The app's active users data was not provided.
Popeyes Česko had the lowest download numbers among the top 5, starting at 335 in the first week of January and decreasing to 226 by the end of March. Active users data for this app was also not provided.
