In Q1 2024, Brazil's finance app market saw notable performances from the top 5 finance applications on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their trends in downloads, active users, and revenue.
Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais demonstrated strong weekly download figures, starting with around 948K in early January and peaking at approximately 1.2M in the week of February 12. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, ranging from 50.2M to 53.7M throughout the quarter.
CAIXA Tem showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in March, skyrocketing to over 1.5M in the last week. Active user numbers also rose, reaching around 7.3M by the end of the quarter.
PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix had a steady performance in downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 401K and 472K. The app's weekly active users also showed a stable trend, peaking at about 13.4M in early March.
FGTS maintained consistent weekly download numbers, with figures generally around 370K to 470K. Active users saw some variability, ending the quarter with approximately 4.7M.
SerasaConsumidor experienced a steady weekly revenue, averaging around $100K. Downloads were fairly stable, ranging from 283K to 402K. Active user numbers varied slightly, peaking at around 4.9M in early January.
