In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 game apps in France showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at each app's metrics:
Brawl Stars saw significant growth in all key metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1.1M by the end of March, showing a consistent increase from $440K at the start of January. Weekly downloads also rose, reaching nearly 192K by the final week of March. The app maintained a strong engagement with weekly active users increasing steadily, peaking at around 3.7M.
QSWatermelon : Monkey Land experienced a decline in both weekly revenue and downloads over the quarter. Revenue dropped from $455 in the first week of January to just $10 by the end of March. Weekly downloads decreased from 251K at the start of the quarter to around 19.7K. Despite the decline in other metrics, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.5M to 1.9M.
Block Blast! maintained a steady performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users, although it did not generate any revenue. Weekly downloads started at 109K and saw a peak of 144K in early February before gradually declining to around 62K by the end of March. Active users remained stable, averaging around 500K throughout the quarter.
Outlets Rush displayed a mixed performance. Weekly revenue saw fluctuations, starting at $4.7K and dropping to $2.2K in mid-March before slightly recovering to $2.1K by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a downward trend from 137K in early January to 34.5K in March. However, active users increased steadily, reaching approximately 384K by the end of March.
MONOPOLY GO! had a strong revenue performance, starting at $1.4M in January and peaking at over $2M in mid-February before tapering to $1.2M by the end of March. Downloads decreased from 138K to around 59.7K over the quarter. Active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 365K and ending at approximately 222K.
