During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 insurance applications in Egypt showcased distinct trends in downloads and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of GlobeMed Fit, MyAXA Egypt, MetLife eServices(Egypt), MLI, and Lumi by Nextcare.
GlobeMed Fit experienced a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at around 7K in mid-January and then stabilizing around the 3K to 4K range toward the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, with a significant jump to approximately 10.8K in mid-January before leveling off to numbers between 7K and 8.8K.
MyAXA Egypt displayed a more modest but steady download trend. The app began the quarter with around 3.7K downloads in the first week of January, dipping to approximately 2K in late January, and then recovering to around 2.7K by the end of March.
MetLife eServices(Egypt) saw fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting strong with 4.7K in the first week of January but dropping to around 2K by mid-March. Despite these fluctuations, the app maintained a steady user base throughout the quarter.
MLI showed notable growth in downloads, beginning the quarter with around 600 downloads and surging to a high of approximately 6.5K in mid-March. This significant increase indicates a growing interest in the app towards the end of the quarter.
Lumi by Nextcare experienced consistent performance in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads remained steady, ranging from around 1.1K to 1.5K throughout the quarter. The active user base showed a slight upward trend, starting at approximately 7.2K and ending at about 7.4K by the end of March.
